Hi, I’m Brad Borders, the Director of Engagement at OPTIVets. I am passionate about forging meaningful connections between Veterans and the resources they need to thrive. With a deep understanding of the challenges Veterans face when transitioning from service to civilian life, I am dedicated to creating opportunities that empower them through career development, community outreach, and support services. My mission at OPTIVets is to ensure that every Veteran we work with feels valued and equipped to succeed personally and professionally.

With a background in leadership and Veteran advocacy, I strive to build bridges between Veterans and businesses, fostering partnerships that lead to long-term success for both. Whether it's guiding Veterans toward job opportunities or creating community-based support programs, I am committed to positively impacting the lives of those who have served our country.

Together with the talented team at OPTIVets, I aim to build a more robust nationwide support network for Veterans, ensuring they have the tools, connections, and confidence to succeed beyond their service years.

OPTIVets: Mission of Healing

Through OPTIVets, our 501(c)(3) charitable corporation, we aim to provide specialized healing and support for Veterans and First responders. Our PTSD/TBI programs are meticulously tailored to address the unique needs of those who have experienced traumas, offering comprehensive care and therapies designed to promote recovery and enhance quality of life. We are dedicated to helping Veterans and First responders navigate their healing journeys with compassion and expertise, ensuring they receive the support they deserve.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) involves breathing concentrated oxygen in a pressurized chamber. By increasing the oxygen supply to damaged cells and tissues, HBOT can enhance brain healing, reduce inflammation, and improve overall brain function.

Intermittent Hyperoxic/Hypoxic Training (IHHT)

IHHT combines physical exercise with high and low concentration oxygen therapy to enhance cardiovascular health, increase oxygen delivery to tissues, improve pulmonary function, and boost overall physical and mental well-being.

PHOTOBIOMODULATION

Also known as red light therapy, this therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing, reduce inflammation, and improve cellular function, which can be particularly beneficial for brain health.

Neurofeedback

A type of biofeedback that uses real-time monitoring of brain activity to train individuals to regulate their brainwave patterns, potentially improving symptoms of PTSD and TBI. Neurofeedback is now an FDA approved treatment for PTSD.

NAD+

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) involves the administration of NAD+ intravenously. Research shows that this coenzyme, essential for cellular function and energy production, may help reduce symptoms of brain injury and improve cognitive function

Amare Supplementation

The OPTI protocol utilizes daily pre and probiotics, phytobiotics combined with nootropics to stabilize mood, increase motivation, mental flow, and physical energy throughout the protocol.
